They are knowingly inviting you to take pics from the moment you step foot inside and splash these all over your socials. Located at Frans Halsstraat 64, the “Wake Me Up When I’m Famous” bench is a popular Instagram spot for those that are looking for something a little different. Maybe you’ve exhausted all of the city’s brunch places and want to make sure your friends know that you have actually taken a few hours out of the cafe and coffee shop-hopping to see the sights.
Located centrally in the Old West district, close to Vondelpark, you won’t find a better hangover cure than Corner Bakery. As though mouthwatering milkshakes weren’t enough, they’re topped with donuts, cream and all kinds of other sweet treats. Be sure to make a stop here, you won’t regret it.
What better way to see the tulips without venturing out of the city? Amsterdam’s floating flower market is nothing short of beautiful. A wonderful place to spend a lazy couple of hours. Your short visit to the city probably means that you wouldn’t be looking to purchase any, but it does give you a gorgeous shot for the ‘gram.
A treat for the tastebuds as well as the eyes; The Avocado Show is a hipster-heaven, and with two locations in the city, you’ll find it hard to say no to this one. Delicious, nutritious and an easy way to grab your 5-a-day. But don’t be fooled, this influencer favourite has a lengthy cocktail menu and a whole range of avocado burgers and pancake stacks, making it the ultimate place to indulge without feeling guilty!

A colourful twist on a traditional Dutch snack.
